Our Coaches

Kevin Potter – Head Coach

Hello, Orcas Families!  I am super excited to be the Head Coach of the Orcas again this year!  I am the Head Boys' Swim Coach at Woodbridge High School, finishing up my 5th season there.  I have taught swim lessons and coached for Novaquatics for 6 years.  I bring lots of experience with coaching all ages.  I enjoy teaching technique of all of the strokes and I make sure that we have fun doing it.  I am a graduate from California State University, Fullerton with a B.S. in Kinesiology.  I swam competitively at both Newport Harbor High School and Orange Coast College.  This summer is going to be a super fun one!  Go, Orcas!

Hello, Orcas!  I am proud to be part of an excellent program in Oak Creek.  I hope to provide the same knowledge and competitiveness I grew up with swimming at the age of 5 in my Lake Forest II Dolphin's community, and assistant coaching at the age of 15 within the South Coast Swim Conference.  During my free time, you will most likely find me at the beach.  I enjoy traveling, surfing, reading and working out.  Let's have some fun this summer!  Go, Orcas!

Traci Mura - Assistant Coach

Hello!  I am so excited to be coaching the Orcas this year!  I have been a part of the Oak Creek Orca family since it started seven years ago.  Orcas has been an amazing experience for me, and I have made some of the greatest friends over the years.  I just finished my senior year at Woodbridge!  I have been on the Woodbridge Swim Team during my sophomore and junior years. I am so lucky to have been given this opportunity to be a part of coaching this amazing team.  This summer is going to be the best!  Go, Orcas!
